The Rose of Eden

 biography 
I took up creative writing at a very early age, possibly to cope with the ever-increasing humdrum life of modern day England.
Between major projects I have penned some poetry, some of which have been published in anthologies, one can be found in ‘The International Library of Poetry’, 1999.
My first ever attempt at writing prose was eight years ago when I wrote three children’s stories.
At present, I am actively looking for an agent to represent all my works.
Three years ago, I completed the writing of three in a series of six fantasy novels. (A sample of the first can be found on this site.)
I have written a fourth children’s story based on the Hans Anderson tale of ‘The Tin Soldier and the Ballerina’.
In 2005, I completed the writing of a supernatural fiction.
I am currently studying a part time degree with the Open University, mastering in the Humanities.
Music is my inspiration, especially the symphonies of Gustav Mahler.

1)I am looking for an agent to represent my works.

2)I am looking to be published in areas such as, children’s/fantasy/SF and supernatural fiction.

4)I have written 4 children’s stories for ages 7+. One is being looked at by ‘The Children’s Literary Agency.’

5)I have written three fantasy novels, the first can be found on this site, the others are a sequel and a prequel. Three more novels from this series are planned.

6)My supernatural fiction is inspired by UK TV programme ‘Most haunted’ and follows the life of a middle aged medium.

7)I am planning to write an action/adventure novel with hints of ‘Lara Croft’, the ‘Last Samurai’ and ‘The Mummy’!

8)I have also written several short stories and poems.
