I have seen many of my words in print - though too often by-lined by others - as a result of my career as a corporate writer. 

But, as yet, no published work of fiction ... not even a completed manuscript. However I have many words, many ideas and am determined to get there. 

Currently focusing on a fictional work for older children (working title: The Snow Key) which for some bizarre reason is the work that has taken on its own life. I say 'bizarre' because I never envisaged writing for children, it just happened.

Really just hoping this site will intro me to like-minded folk who enjoy their writing desperately but could do with a little support and some shoves in the right direction here and there. 

So I’m not so much putting my diamonds in a showcase just yet - they’ve just been born and I’m cutting and grinding to shape them.

1. Getting up here, and on-line, to try and discipline my creativity 

2. A born idler, a born dreamer, and have been writing for as long as I can remember. 

3. A literature graduate who swore never to do any more exams after my finals - and lo! sitting in front of a blank screen with the opportunity to do what I want to do it all of a sudden feels like prep for my thesis! 

4. Wish my heart's desire had been directed to something less onerous ... alas this is what I want to do.
