Synopsis of THE GOLDEN SERAPH by AUTUMN ROBSON The Golden Seraph is inspired by some dreams I had when I was younger, and I finally decided to put them all together. This story is suitable for all lovers of stories from ages 16 and up. It is an English winters tale that combines my love of semi-fiction with action and a gripping, fast-paced plot. Three characters are united and haunted by a mysterious incident to which none have the answer. This saga charts the stories of three characters who are introduced in the prologue, and a few more. It is set in an alternate version of modern day, mixing fact with fiction to create a magical and limitless world just like our own. The Golden Seraph of the title is taken from the title of part one, an adventure story which follows Emma Diamond, a policewoman from City Lifthasir, and Benedict Lionhart, a Jesuit from Edinburgh, as their paths merge on the road to adventure. Two people entirely strange to each other who have become acquainted in the strangest of circumstances now find themselves witnessing golden oracles, trekking through mountainous valleys riddled with bandits and meeting princes on horseback. What will become of the Benedict and Emma in the future? Only time will tell... A more romantic tale, Part Two The Silver Hawk follows the life story of Sir Henry Drake, a Knight from Longshale, who has returned to his home in Albany, only to uncover further mysteries. He has not been with his friends for long when a new danger presents itself to his beloved home, and the appearance of a mysterious young lady in his life makes sure that Henry will take his place in the history of Albany. The lighthearted epilogue, A Trip Under the Hills, looks to finally unravel the ancient incident which united all of the characters, solved with the help of Henrys brother Arthur Drake, his friends, and a fairy scout called Vatius Orbweb. It takes place in another world, the fabled Otherworld of Albany. A more dark and gruesome twist,The Dark Days is a small side story to my main novel, which goes by the title The Golden Seraph, starring one of the main characters, an ex-Jesuit called Benedict Lionhart, who remembers his days of training with the Order of the Golden Lance.
