biography
Hi, I'm Olga Efremova.
What else can I say about myself? I was
born in Siberia which is quite an odd place to choose to be born, yet,
nevertheless. My family was a typical one for the neighbourhood: dad -
an electronics engineer for a nuclear physics research centre, mom - a
chemistry lab technician. One day, when I was about 5, dad took me to
his job for a family tour. There I first saw a weird thing called
supercollider and ... my life became a wreck.
I could never get rid of the memory of
that moment: me, gazing in awe over the metal barrier that surrounded a
huge round hall full of blinking screens, beeping gadgets and busy
people in white coats. For a Siberian girl of the year 1978 it was as
close as it could get to the experience of being on a board of a real
starship. It was a Wonder.
Now, almost 25 years on I'm still
longing to re-live that feeling.
That's why I've started this company: to
bring together people who share the same vision of the world and who
know the value of good fun.
As I love to say: if you can imagine it,
you can make it real.
