The Bookhabit Unpublished Competition

Free to enter and open to all unpublished writers, who retain their copyright.

Prize money totals $5,000

The rules are quite complicated so you need to check them on their site.

Round 1 is now in progress so go to the Bookhabit site right away if you want to take part. An author will earn revenue for each download during the competition, equal to 40% of the purchase price. Books are rated by a combination of the number of downloads the book has received and the ratings.

There are 3 rounds:

	Round 1 - Each week 6 winners are chosen to go through to Round 2 over a period of 10 weeks (3 March – 11 May 2008).
	Round 2 - 10 finalists are chosen from the 60 books (12 – 25 May 2008)
	Round 3 - Panel selects winning book to be announced 24 June
