A new interview service from LifeLines Press

At LifeLines Press we’ve discovered that many people are excellent raconteurs, but the thought of actually sitting down and writing a book about their lives, is daunting.

That’s why we’ve set up a new service called ‘Armchair Interviews’. We help you plan the shape of your memoirs and then interview you on tape. The tapes are transcribed and edited, leaving you with a continuous first person narrative with no intrusive outside voice. This can also be a wonderful way to preserve the memories of an elderly relative so that the family history is not lost. Speaking with a skilled interviewer invariably triggers memories, half forgotten, and in a relaxed atmosphere the character of the narrator comes through in their manner of speech, their humour and their perceptions.
